After that - no iris. Just muscs, muscs and muscs. I've been lucky enough to get my hands on three bottles of vintage Chanel that range from the 1960s - 1980s, two are No 5 EDT one is No 19 EDT, two of the bottles are splash bottles the other is a dabber bottle. But no 19 is distributed in many stores, including, I believe, Macy's and Sephora, so it shouldn't be difficult to smell the current version (whereas in general one cannot smell the extrait, which is only distributed in very places, like the Chanel boutiques). La Pausa lacks the sharp galbanum of No 19 and has a very airy iris feel. The first few times I tried La Pausa I thought it disappeared very quickly. After owning a bottle I find that I detect airy wafts of it all day, the base has a lovely woody vetiver that makes if fairly unisex after the initial powdery iris blast.
